New Director of Finance and Business Planning

Nick Shanahan, Deputy Director of Finance and Operations at the Natural Environment Research Council, is set to join NatCen Social Research as Director of Finance and Business Planning on 2 July 2012.

Nick will bring to NatCen Social Research extensive experience of strategic and financial planning.  Prior to joining the Natural Environment Research Council in 2010 he was with the Ministry of Defence, latterly in a number of senior Finance roles.

His recent experience at a research council, together with his wide ranging business management expertise at the MOD and leadership roles will be critical to helping us deliver on our mission in a challenging external environment."
