Director of Corporate Affairs

Chris is Director of Corporate Affairs. He leads on organisational change and improvement and is responsible for a range of corporate functions including HR and communications. Chris joined NatCen in 2006 and was Deputy Director of the Qualitative Research Unit until 2009 where he led research programmes and evaluations in the social inclusion arena and worked with a wide range of clients including government departments, public bodies and charitable foundations. Prior to working in social research he was a senior trade union official and has held numerous positions in public life including that of elected councillor in Tower Hamlets from 1998 -2002. He is currently chair of Tower Hamlets Homes and the Scottish Adoption Association.
