Natasha is the lead researcher on the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA), which NatCen carries out in collaboration with University College London and the Institute for Fiscal Studies. ELSA looks at every aspect of ageing including people’s health, economic and social resources and their quality of life as they age. Natasha's role on ELSA involves managing the questionnaire development, maintaining the ELSA panel of respondents and ensuring that the study runs on time. Working on ELSA has given Natasha an insight into the issues which affect older people and the challenges we face with an ageing population, as well as being able to meet researchers from around the world working on equivalent ageing studies.
