Who is carrying out the study?

We are carrying out the survey in partnership with MRC Human Nutrition Research and the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the Royal Free and University College London Medical School. Interviews in Northern Ireland are being carried out by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency.

MRC Human Nutrition Research is an independent organisation that carries out national and international scientific research into the relationship between nutrition and health. It works in partnership with academic groups, governments and industries and is regarded as a centre of excellence for this type of research. The Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at University College London works to develop a better understanding of health and prevention of ill health through vigorous research and the development of research methodology.
